Leamington Spa was again the venue of the Midland Masters Swimming Championships.
In her first meet of the year, Jayne O’Brien was the women’s 100 breaststroke championship for the 50-54 age group. Not to be outdone, Barry O’Brien claimed the men’s 100 breaststroke title in the next event.
Paul Davies returned home with two silver medals in 18-24 age group. The silver medals were in the men’s 100 butterfly and 100 IM. Amy Mellor claimed a silver medal in the women’s 30-34 200 freestyle and bronze in the 50 backstroke.
