ASA Masters, Sheffield, 2008

Adam Smith, Paul Toward, Phil Baxter and Amy Mellor all competed for the first time at the ASA National Masters Short Course Championships in Sheffield. In the 25-29 100 breaststroke Adam Smith finished strongly and claimed a silver medal.

Barry O’Brien won three events in the 50-54 age group; 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke and 200 IM. Barry also finished with a silver medal in the 50 breaststroke.

In the 35-39 age group, Nicola Latty won four events; 800 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 200 butterfly and 400 IM.

Jayne O’Brien completed the medal haul for Oundle with a bronze in the 200 breaststroke in the 45-49 age group.
